The goal of the AZOVA EAP is to provide employees with the support and resources they need to address personal and work-related challenges, to improve well-being, and enhance productivity and job satisfaction. Our innovative EAP offers a comprehensive range of services to help you employees.
Experienced trained care navigators are an integral part of the care team. We’ll assess the needs of each member and connect them to a licensed clinician and additional resources as needed.
We support participants through a range of personal and professional issues via short-term, solution-focused brief therapy. This involves a move away from the analysis of the problem to the discovery of solutions. This modality of counseling centers on helping participants identify the skills, strengths, and resources that exist but are not tapped in their lives – moving them towards a solution that is unique to them.
All clinical calls begin with a conversation to determine the appropriate clinical intervention and/or need. The conversation begins with discussing the individual’s presenting issue, support systems, coping strategies, background information, and a risk assessment. The outcome is a plan that covers the short-term focus, including setting goals with the participant.
If the participant’s needs are appropriate for short-term counseling sessions, we will connect the employee with a counselor for these sessions.
In an effort to provide immediate relief to participants, we can offer a single session of supportive counseling during the initial call with the member. Single-session counseling, which is generally delivered via telephone or video, provides the participant with a clinical intervention at the moment of contact.
Our behavioral health providers are skilled in providing these participants with the tools they need to move forward at that moment. Examples of concerns that may respond well to these interventions are work-related stress, relationship concerns, or parenting issues. Immediately engaging in a single session of counseling supports the member at their highest level of need and provides a tangible action plan following the end of a call. If a higher level of intervention is required, a licensed therapist is scheduled for a more in-depth counseling session defined as a structured counseling session.
