Why screening matters

A FIT looks for hidden blood in stool. If your result is positive, a follow-up colonoscopy can find and remove polyps and look for the cause.

Who ColonCheck FIT is for
- Age 45 or older
- Average risk for colorectal cancer
- No current symptoms such as persistent bleeding or unexplained weight loss
- No previous colon cancer
A positive FIT is not a cancer diagnosis, and screening does not replace evaluation of symptoms. Talk with a clinician if you have symptoms or higher risk.
