AZOVA is a convenient way to access healthcare services online. We are a nationwide medical practice where you can choose from a next available provider or you choose your provider and schedule the most convenient time for your appointment. Get a diagnosis, treatment plan and a prescription, when appropriate. There is no need to leave your home or office to get the care that you need. We are even available on nights and weekends so you can skip the urgent care and the emergency room.

What conditions can I use AZOVA for?

Use AZOVA for non-emergency acute care such as a sinus infection, a UTI, the flu or COVID. Our services are available for adults and children.

Is virtual urgent care the same as primary care provider?

Virtual urgent care is not the same and primary care. Virtual urgent care is for the treatment of acute conditions such as a UTI or sinus infection. Primary care is for the treatment of chronic, ongoing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and kidney health.

Can I use AZOVA if I have a life threatening health emergency?

No. AZOVA telemedicine services are intended only to provide care for non-emergent conditions. If you have a life-threatening condition, please go to the nearest emergency room.

How much does it cost?

The cost of telehealth services is covered by your organzation.

How do I get a visit?

To get a visit, click through the ‘Get Care Now’ button, verify your benefits elegibility and create an account on AZOVA. Simply log in, choose what service you want, and complete your registration. Its very simple!

Do I have to use my insurance?

AZOVA virtual urgent care is not billed through your insurance. The cost of your visit is covered by your organization.

Are the visits by video, telephone or messaging?

AZOVA offers three evisit modalities depending upon what is legal in your state; video, telephone and secure messaging visits are offered.

Are telemedicine visits scheduled or on demand?

With AZOVA you can choose the soonest available provider or you can select a specific provider and select how you want to connect (via video, telephone or secure messaging) and schedule a convenient time to meet. If you choose the soonest available option, AZOVA will automatically provide this visit via secure messaging unless telephone or video is required in your state.

How long are the telemedicine visits?

If you are using AZOVA for a medical condition, the length of your telemedicine visit is based upon the condition you are seeing the provider for.

How do I accsess AZOVA?

You can use AZOVA anywhere you have wifi on your phone, computer or tablet. Once you have verified your benefits, you can then access the telehealth services. Download the AZOVA mobile app and log in to access your telehealth benefit any time.

If the telemedicine provider doesn’t write a prescription, is there a fee for the visit?

As with an in person appointment, there is a fee to see a healthcare provider online even if a prescription isn’t written or even if your provider refers you to an emergency room or to other in person care. Nonetheless, your organization covers the cost of telemedicine visits on AZOVA so you don’t need to worry.

Is this benefit for my whole family?

Your organization offers this service to employees, spouses and dependents. Please note, all adults must create their own account on AZOVA before using the service. Dependents are automatically associated with the account of the parent who is the employee so if you need an appointment for a child, the employee must complete the registration on behalf of the child. If you are registering for an appointment for a minor-aged dependent, first create your own account and then choose your dependent as the patient.

Are the telehealth providers board-certified?

AZOVA works with a network of board-certified phsycians and nurse practitioners who are licensed to practice in the United States and in your state.

Can my telehealth provider prescribe medications?

Yes. Your healthcare provider will review your medical history and determine the best approach to address your condition. When a prescription is recommended, your provider will send it to your pharmacy automatically.

Do the telemedicine providers prescribe controlled substances?

No. Providers on AZOVA do not prescribe any controlled substances.

Will AZOVA send a copy of my visit notes to my primary care provider?

Upon your request, we will send a copy of your records to your primary care provider.

Can I use AZOVA when travelling in the United States?

Yes. AZOVA offers a network of providers who are licensed in all 50 states so you can use the service when traveling within the United States.

Can I use AZOVA when I am traveling outside of the United States?

Unfortunately, no. Providers who are licensed in the United States cannot provide medical care to you when you are physically outside of the United States.
