Symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19)

According to the CDC, the reported symptoms for coronavirus have ranged from mild symptoms to severe. The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure:

  • Fever
  • Dry Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Chills or repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Loss of taste or smell

More severe cases

The following symptoms are more common in severe cases of COVID-19:

  • Shortness of breath that leaves you unable to speak full sentences
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion or inability to arouse
  • Bluish lips or face
