Before treating age spots, sun spots, or melasma, it’s important to rule out skin cancer FIRST. That’s why we start with a medical review by an ExpertDerm trained provider who will examine your photos and history to recommend the best treatment. If your condition would be better treated in person, we’ll help get you scheduled.
Some skin cancers can look like melasma or sun spots. This person had been treated with lasers and bleaching creams before she got an appropriate diagnosis from us. This is melanoma and should NOT be treated for melasma.
